Conference Mission

To develop, promote and sustain intentional, community-wide asset building.

Positive, successful youths aren't created by accident or overnight. The Greater Dayton Conference on Youth will provide you with new ways to make a deliberate, intentional impact on the youths you serve, teach and mentor. The conference is focused on widespread deployment of the 40 Developmental Assets.

The assets were identified by The Search Institute as strengths necessary for the healthy development of today’s youths. The more assets kids and teenagers have the more likely they are to thrive and engage in positive behaviors. The more asset builders our community has, the faster success will spread.

Anyone can become an asset builder. Anyone can make a difference. Join us as we continue to create Great Kids and Great Communities.
